"The House by the Sea project will be an enquiry into understanding the mental well-being of young people at the scale of the neighbourhood. Students will be invited to undertake primary research into different pockets of Yelahanka to document everyday life— living, working, travelling, etc. and reflect on their own ideas of living within a community/neighbourhood (based on the reference point of their childhoods). This material will then be co-created into walking tours (with physical/digital artefacts) where students will discuss how the design of the neighbourhood shapes their own mental health and well-being, and what it means for a young person to live around people in a post-COVID-19 world."
